Up to $15,000 incentive payments may be available to support relocation
$43.67 to $56.72 depending on your discipline and level of experience, plus salary packaging

Join our dedicated team as a Mental Health Clinician, providing holistic, evidence-based care to support recovery for individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Working collaboratively with Senior Clinicians and Team Leaders, you'll deliver comprehensive bio-psycho-social clinical assessments, treatment, and care plans that prioritise consumer centered and family inclusive practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, identifying and prioritising needs for consumers and families.
- Serve as the primary treating clinician within a multidisciplinary team focused on continuous improvement, community-based, evidence-based best practices
- Develop, implement, and review individualised treatment plans addressing biological, psychological, and social needs.
- Evaluate treatments outcomes, ensuring optimal recovery for consumers and families.
- Actively involve families in care delivery, promoting recovery-oriented practices in everyday clinical work.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills in daily clinical practice with respect to the routine, active involvement of families in the delivery of clinical treatments.
- Rural teams are required to work weekends as rostered, as well as on-call rosters on weekends and afterhours.
Skills and experience
- Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 3
- Psychologist Grade 2
- Social Worker Grade 2
- Occupational Therapist Grade 2
- Ideally you will have experience working in a Community Mental Health team
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to work both independently and within a team structure
- Relevant professional qualification one of the below health-related disciplines, and current registration where applicable;

Relocation Support
Up to $15,000 incentive payments may be available to support relocation (paid as a reimbursement for Bond and rent, travel costs, removalists, accommodation, visa application fees and more).
The Victorian Government has allocated funds to support rural and regional Area Mental Health Services (AMHS) to provide incentives to attract workers to roles that are difficult to fill.
The new workforce relocation and incentive grants program is being administered by Rural Agency Workforce Victoria (RWAV).
