THE ROLE:

Manage: Lead bookkeeping staff and data entry functions. Manage payroll, cashflow, debtors and creditors, credit application and verifications, price lists and stand costs.

Invoicing: AR and AP invoice approvals and queries,

Accounting: Financial control on all AP functions, including all AP payments and scheduling. Timesheet & MYOB total verification, Superannuation verifications, EOM reconciliations, monthly AR claims and supporting compliance documentation for all major accounts.

Process and Improvement: Cost analysis and reduction strategies, process improvement and operational efficiency, performance measurement and KPI Tracking, strategic decision support regarding profitability analysis on services, assist senior management with a data driven insights to improve cost saving.

HOW YOU'LL CONNECT TO THE ROLE:

Personal: Well-rounded interpersonal skills – be able to communicate clearly and concisely, ability to work independently with teams, able to juggle multiple requests and tasks at any one time.

Experience: Strong technical accounting and advanced Excel skills. Extensive experience with ERP’s – Microsoft AX experience is highly desirable. Experience in a corporate accounting role. Excellent stakeholder management.

Qualifications: CA/CPA/ACCA qualified. Knowledge and understanding of a contract/project/ O&M environment. Accounting Degree or equivalent

Audit or business services background is desirable.
