This role would suit someone with at least 2 + years of agency or brand focussed social media experience under their belt, is comfortable working in a remote capacity and looking for a long term career.

What your day will look like:

Develop detailed quarterly strategies, focussing on content pillars, KPI’s, content strategies that drive growth and engagement across organic social media accounts.

Analyse organic social accounts, gauging their place in the market or industry, searching for competitors, finding their social tone of voice, user persona and audience.

Engagement on organic accounts. Monitoring, commenting & engaging as needed

Working closely with Account Managers to coordinate and brief organic social campaigns across various platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok etc)

Keeping up to date with emerging trends and new ways of working

Identifying potential influencers, manage influencer negotiations and drive influencer campaigns

Owning social media competitions - ideas, engagement, announcements that drive the strategy growth and KPIs

Organising content shoots where needed, including brainstorming content ideas, storyboarding, sourcing talent, shooting and editing photography/video content via a social first model; we shoot on iPhone, not DLSR

Working closely with internal teams (design, copywriting, paid media, client service) to drive the best results for organic social media activity

Working with data and analytics to frequently monitor activity and help to deliver reports to our clients

Ideally, we're looking for:

A proactive team player who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and help with all areas of the business

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail; you're organised and you own your work

A positive attitude

Someone who can hit the ground running and can work well in an agency environment

Have prior experience in working on organic social growth. Agency experience would be highly regarded

Demonstrated experience within the social media space, working toward goals, KPI’s and interpreting briefs

Deep understanding of social media strategy and the role it plays within the larger digital marketing landscape

Knowledge of scheduling platforms

Strong understanding of brand guidelines and principles

A willingness to travel (at our cost of course, not yours!) for on-location shoots. The requirements are three one week trips per year to Fiji, and 1 - 2 days / month in NSW / QLD / VIC. You could expect to be on the road 4 - 5 weeks a year in this role

Someone who is based in the greater Sydney area - Sydney, Central Coast, Newcastle - to make the travel more convenient for you
