About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to grow your leadership skills and make a real difference in the Traffic Management industry. Reporting to the Operations Team Leader, as Operations Assistant at Traffic Force, you will be immersed in the day-to-day challenges and opportunities of a fast-paced environment ensuring our operations run like clockwork. You will work hands on with co workers ensuring operational efficiency, safety compliance, and exceptional service.

What You'll Be Doing:

Hands-On Support: Be the go-to person for work crews, providing real-time assistance before, during, and after their shifts.

Champion Safety: Lead by example, promote and foster a culture of safety awareness and adherence to best practices.

Gear Up the Team: Ensure vehicles and resources are prepped and ready for seamless operations.

Worksite Engagement: Don’t just pass by—stop, engage, and actively support crews in the field, understanding their challenges and providing solutions.

Document Like a Pro: Ensure all operational paperwork is accurate and submitted on time.

Administrative Support: Keep the wheels turning by keeping our systems up to date and providing general administrative support to the team to ensure customer requests are processed in a timely manner.

Key Skills & Requirements: To excel in this role, you’ll bring a mix of hands-on experience and operational savvy.

Valid WA C Class license(or higher)

White Card (or willingness to obtain)

Minimum 2 years of experience in construction, hospitality, transport, logistics, or warehousing

A focus on safe work habits, culture & practices with strong history of safety awareness

Good computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word and entering data in Excel

Demonstrated strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and confidence to deal with a variety of people

Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow documented processes

Demonstrated experience being a team player

Availability to work over various rosters (eg. early mornings, late afternoons, weekend on call)

Operations Assistant Benefits:

You will be provided with great work/life balance in this role working 45 hours per week on a competitive salary based on your skills and experience. Salary range $60,000 – $70,000 per year + super + on call allowance. In addition we offer:
