About the role

This is a full-time Operations assistant role within the BNL Freight Management team located in Mount Waverley, Victoria. As an Operations assistant, you will be the friendly voice of the company, responsible for assisting customers with their inquiries and providing exceptional service to maintain and grow our customer base.

What you'll be doing

Answering incoming customer calls and responding to customer enquiries and requests in a timely, courteous and efficient manner

Addressing customer concerns and complaints, and working to resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction

Providing product and service information to customers and educating them on the company's offerings

Entering customer information and details into the company's CRM system accurately and efficiently

Escalating complex or sensitive matters to supervisors as required

Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting your colleagues

Adhering to all company policies, procedures and quality standards

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer service or call center role, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen, empathise and respond effectively to customer needs

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and find creative solutions

Proficient in using computer systems

A positive, friendly and professional attitude, with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service

Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues

Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
