We’re partnering with a leading food manufacturing business that supplies some of Australia’s most iconic brands (think fresh bread, household staples – you’ve definitely got their products in your pantry). Right now, they’re on the lookout for a hands-on HSE Advisor to support their team at the Moorebank site for a 3-month contract.

Why this role?
This is a great opportunity to step into a well-established site that’s ticking along nicely but needs someone to keep all the day-to-day safety activities humming while the team recruits their next HSE leader. You’ll be the go-to for business-as-usual HSE support and play a key role in maintaining momentum across safety systems, reporting, and engagement.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting BAU HSE activities across a busy 24/7 manufacturing facility
• Coordinating and reporting on safety incidents, hazards, and near misses
• Leading site-based safety inductions and toolbox talks
• Conducting workplace inspections and risk assessments
• Facilitating or delivering safety training and refresher sessions
• Reviewing and updating SOPs, SWMS, policies, and procedures
• Supporting compliance with internal and external audit requirements
• Collaborating with frontline leaders to promote a proactive safety culture
• Reporting to the site Safety Manager- you'll have solid support and guidance

The site & rhythm:

• Based onsite at the Moorebank facility, part of a national network
• 5 days a week onsite preferred, but there's flexibility if needed
• Early starts and early finishes are the rhythm of the site – but you can adjust timings of your day to suit you
• Free onsite parking available

Who we’re looking for:

• A confident HSE Specialist who’s comfortable in fast-paced manufacturing
• Someone who can hit the ground running, is practical, solutions-focused, and able to connect well with frontline teams
• Strong admin/reporting capability – you'll be key in keeping safety records sharp and compliant
