For 27 years, Flood Emergency Services (FES) has been delivering fast, reliable, and affordable water damage restoration to Australian homes and businesses. We provide a 24×7×365 service and will be on-site in 60–90 minutes to help our clients and mitigate the impact of water damage. Our technicians and project managers are IICRC qualified, and we provide compliance certificates on job completion to give our clients assurance that their premises are safe and that water damage has been addressed.

Summary of position

The Marketing Specialist will:

Research demand by market segment

Create, manage and optimise marketing campaigns to drive business results

Control customer acquisition cost in accordance with agreed KPIs

Manage the flow of transactional marketing data through to sales

Manage digital agency partner organisations

Develop detailed reports by market segment and distribution channel

Identify and pitch opportunities to enter new markets

Advise on all aspects of marketing

Key responsibilities & duties

The role must be capable of performing the following responsibilities, which are sequenced by order of priority:

Manage group search engine optimisation (SEO), Google My Business (GMB) listings and Google Ads in accordance with agreed KPIs

Track weekly marketing expenditure, call volume and sales conversions by distribution channel, companies in the group, and market segments to profile customer acquisition cost (CAC)

Reconcile CAC against the value of jobs won to track ROI

Use CallRail and AIIMS to track the relevance of sales calls and develop optimisation strategies and plans

Manage client reviews

Monitor retail competitors and wholesale activity in the market

Work with the Google Account Manager and digital agency partners to manage and improve day-to-day operations

Mandatory selection criteria

Qualifications in Marketing and/or Advertising

Google Ads certification

A minimum of five (5) years of verifiable experience in marketing and advertising

Verifiable experience in delivering digital marketing campaigns for highly time-sensitive services (e.g. emergency response) within a group of companies that provide similar services to different market segments

A working knowledge of flood remediation services, markets (wholesale and retail), market segments, demographics (including but not limited to homeowners, tenants, landlords, strata, building managers, insurers and insurance brokers), and third parties (including insurers and brokers)

Verifiable experience in managing marketing campaigns with an annual budget that exceeds $3M AUD

Verifiable experience in optimising SEO to maintain page one Google rankings for multiple companies in a group

Verifiable experience in working for or with digital agencies and Google Account Managers

A deep understanding of CallRail and AIIMS technologies

Willingness to work full-time from office premises in Varsity Lakes on the Gold Coast, QLD.
