Italian Head Chef – Join the Opening Team at BoscosNero

BoscosNero Italian is a brand-new 80 seater Italian restaurant opening in May on Blackwood Street, Mitchelton. We’re on the hunt for a passionate and experienced Italian Chef.

Whether you're an established Head Chef or a talented Chef ready to step up and lead a kitchen for the first time, we’d love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing:

Collaborating on the creation of a menu

Contribute creative and versatile culinary ideas across a fast-paced lunch menu, enticing bar snacks, and more formal dining option

Overseeing food preparation and managing stock and orders to ensure quality and efficiency

Leading and working alongside kitchen staff to encourage a positive and high-performing team culture

· Writing rosters and maintaining BOH labour targets

Ordering and maintaining food COGS

· Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and WHS.

What we're looking for:

Proven experience in Italian cuisine

Strong leadership and communication skills

A creative mindset and passion for food

Develop efficient in-house kitchen systems and take the lead in training and mentoring kitchen staff
