Neangar Park Golf Club, a vibrant and historic club proudly serving the Bendigo community since 1931, is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and motivated Membership & Marketing Coordinator to join our close-knit team.

Neangar Park offers an exceptional golfing experience with a well-maintained 18-hole golf course, a 12-bay driving range, and a 9-hole pitch and putt course, the only one of its kind in the region. The club also features a thriving golf shop that offers a wide range of golf equipment, golf apparel and accessories.

About the Role

As our Membership & Marketing Coordinator, you will be the friendly face and creative force behind all things membership related. From handling inquiries and processing renewals, to creating eye-catching collateral and social media content.

This role is set in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment where no two days are alike. It is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to grow, learn, and challenge themselves. At Neangar Park Golf Club, we pride ourselves on having a close-knit, supportive team where everyone pitches in and works together to achieve shared success.

The regular working week for this role is Sunday to Thursday, however, you may be required to work outside of these days on occasion to support major events, tournaments, or corporate days, particularly during busy periods. Flexibility is essential to meet the demands of the role and ensure the smooth running of key club activities.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives in a people-focused, detail-oriented environment and enjoys being actively involved in all aspects of club life.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the golf membership process: sign-ups, renewals, and payments.

Respond to member and public inquiries via phone, email, and in person.

Create engaging collateral, graphics, and event promotions.

Maintain our website and social media presence (Facebook, Instagram)

Assist with bar and pro shop stock management and ordering.

Provide excellent customer service across all touchpoints.

Support banking and financial administration, including cash handling.

Assist in the organising and running of club events/corporate days.

What We're Looking For

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Willingness to learn about the sport of golf and the club alike.

Experience with marketing, content creation, or graphic design (Canva, Photoshop)

Social media savvy and tech-confident (Microsoft Office, basic web tools)

Highly organised, detail-driven, and shows initiative.

RSA Certificate (essential)

A positive, collaborative attitude with a love of the game of golf and community clubs.

Prior experience in a golf club or membership-based organisation (preferred)
