About the Role
Are you a results-driven recruiter looking to make a real impact? RWAV is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to join our Permanent Recruitment Team. In this role, you will be instrumental in recruiting General Practitioners (GPs) to rural communities, ensuring sustainable healthcare workforce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end recruitment – Manage the full cycle of GP recruitment, from advertising to placement.
- Proactively source candidates – Use various channels to identify, attract, and engage GPs.
- Candidate case management – Provide pre- and post-placement support to ensure successful transitions.
- Build strong relationships – Engage with healthcare services, clinics, and GPs to understand needs and create tailored solutions.
- Deliver on placement targets – Drive recruitment strategies to fill vacancies effectively and meet performance objectives.
- Grants & incentives – Administer funding programs to support GP placements.
- Marketing & attraction – Promote RWAV’s GP recruitment program through targeted campaigns.
- Process improvement – Contribute to the continuous development of RWAV’s recruitment strategies.
Key Selection Criteria
- Proven experience in recruitment, with a track record of successfully filling roles and meeting placement targets.
- Strong candidate sourcing and headhunting skills to attract top GP talent.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement & relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team.
- Exceptional time management, organisation, & problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office & recruitment platforms (e.g., JobAdder, SEEK).
- Knowledge of health workforce & rural healthcare service delivery (desirable).
