St John of God Bunbury Hospital is a modern facility serving the regional communities of WA's south west coastal towns, including the regional city of Bunbury, and its major centres comprising of Collie, Busselton and Margaret River. It is co-located on the South West Health Campus with the public hospital.
Your role at St John of God Bunbury Hospital
As a Grade 1 Physiotherapist, you will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team to provide clinical physiotherapy services to clients/patients using evidence based clinical practice skills. You will ensure practice is in accordance to Australian Physiotherapy Association Code of Conduct and SJGHC policies and guidelines.
The role is offered on a Permanent Full-Time, Part Time or Casual basis.
The Position:
- Provide high quality evidence based physiotherapy assessments and treatments for all patients/clients, including the provision of hydrotherapy treatments where applicable.
- Using patient-centered care work with the patient to develop appropriate physiotherapy treatment goals and plans for all patients/clients.
- Ensure that direct working relationships are established and maintained with multi-disciplinary colleagues and internal/external customers including active participation in the multidisciplinary team meetings
- Use of Evidence Based Patient treatment outcome measures and use of Patient feedback satisfaction measures and quality assurance activities
- Participate in the physiotherapy department weekend roster if required.
- Responsible for completing appropriate administrative duties arising from each session instructed. This requires liaison with the office administration team, reporting of statistical data and completion of clinical documentation.
You will possess experience with the provision of Physiotherapy services in relevant clinical settings including the provision of hydrotherapy treatments. In addition, you will possess effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
To succeed, you will have current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA) and demonstrate the ability to work independently, as well as within a multi-disciplinary team.

- Salary: $82,617 to $116,189 (pro-rata) plus 11.5% superannuation
- Casual Rate: $52.09 to $73.26 (including 25% casual loading) plus 11.5% superannuation
