1 Part-time Position (21-25 hours per week, to be negotiated)

The Level 2-3 Finance and Administration Officer will be employed under the conditions of the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award.
Broken Hill Local Aboriginal Land Council (BHLALC) has a vacancy for a Part-time Level 2-3 Finance and Administration Officer position to join our team. The successful applicant will be offered on-the-job training with potential accredited qualification pathways.
The Finance and Administration Officer will be the primary point of contact for phone calls and community members visiting the office and assist with the day-to-day administration and finance operations of the Broken Hill Local Aboriginal Land Council in accordance with policies and procedures established by the Board and the Chief Executive Officer.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS; Aboriginality is a genuine occupational qualification as authorised by Part 2, division 2, Section 14(d) of the Anti-Discrimination Act, 1977; Proven high level written and oral communication skills; Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to set and meet deadlines whilst maintaining a high degree of confidentiality; Proven computer literacy, including experience in word processing, data base, spreadsheets, email and internet usage; Hold a current NSW Driver’s License, and Experience in working in a finance and/or administration role.
