At Amazon we're currently seeking expressions of interest for experienced Maintenance Technicians to join our team for the upcoming launch of our brand new Delivery Station in Chullora

Please note that the current shift pattern includes 10-hour shifts x 4 days and one day working during the weekend. Sunday to Wednesday | Wednesday to Saturday.

The expected start date is in June 2025.

Key job responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site.
• Put health & safety best practices first in all work carried out.
• React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected teams and work efficiently to fix the issue.
• Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements through the line manager.
• Provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers.
• Support and learn from Senior Maintenance Technicians.

Basic Qualifications

• Formal trade qualifications: Cert III In Electrotechnology with electrical trade licence/Cert III Mechanical Engineering (Fitter/Turner). Alternatively, equivalent formal trade qualifications recognised in Australia.
• Industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems.
• Experience fault finding within Material Handling Equipment/Automation systems.
• Ability to read and understand electrical /mechanical drawings.
• Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters.
• Experience of working to appropriate health & safety standards and regulations.
