Our Large Federal Government Client, focused on helping Australians with disabilities, is looking for a Cloud Network Architect/Engineer to lead the design, build, deploy and support the Agency's network solution.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Lead the design, build, deployment and support of the Agency's network solutions.
• Develop and manage VLANs, IP addressing, Firewalls, wireless, and routing for more than 150 sites and cloud environments.
• Develop and manage security protocols across physical and wireless networks.
• Resolve end user and application issues related to network infrastructure.
• Lead network infrastructure change management activities.
• Play a key role in the design and implementation of a network operating model.
• Serve as a technology Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Investigate complex technical problems assigned to the team and work independently and with others to assist in addressing issues.

Skills and experience

• Demonstrated experience working with various network vendors/providers, with project design and deployment experience.
• Proven experience producing a range of documentation from simple work instructions to complex network designs and architecture documents.
• Demonstrated high level conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop creative and innovative solutions to difficult and complex problem.

• Experience working in Government or providing services to Government agency desirable.
• Experience with Fortinet, Aruba, Meraki, Cloudflare, AWS network stacks desirable.
• Experience with WIFI prediction and device placement desirable.
• Experience with CCTV, NVR and Audio streaming services desirable.
