In this role, you’ll manage contracts for medium-value, medium-risk requirements, and play a key role in supporting high-value, high-risk procurement activities. Your expertise will be invaluable as you guide stakeholders through procurement policy, contract formation, and the entire procurement process, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
As a Senior Sourcing Officer, you’ll be at the heart of driving continuous improvements while collaborating with a talented team to navigate complex decisions, interpret contract law, and ensure seamless contract handovers. From preparing tender documents to overseeing evaluations and leading negotiations, your contributions will have a direct impact on the success of our procurement efforts. Plus, you’ll educate others on best practices and policies, fostering a culture of transparency and compliance.

About You!
To excel in this role, you should possess:
Knowledge and/or experience of government procurement policies and procedures.
Experience in tender and contract development.
Sound written communication skills, with the ability to prepare procurement and technical documents

There is currently one fixed term opportunity available to 30 September 2027, with the possibility of renewal and/or permanency. Applicants assessed as suitable through this process may be used to fill similar vacancies on a fixed term or permanent basis that may arise within the next 12 months
