We are now seeking a qualified and experienced full-time Electronics Engineer to join our team in South Australia.
About the JOB
Designing and developing electronic systems and components for solar energy applications, including solar inverters, battery management systems, and power monitoring devices.
Creating software for real-time control, monitoring, and optimization of solar power systems, ensuring efficient operation of inverters, charge controllers, and energy storage units.
Creating and implementing testing tools and procedures to evaluate the performance, safety, and reliability of solar-related electronic components and systems.
Overseeing the installation and commissioning of solar power systems and ensuring correct integration of control electronics, software, and protective mechanisms.
Setting up and maintaining performance and safety standards for the operation, maintenance, and upgrading of solar power control and monitoring systems.
Designing communication systems to support remote monitoring, data logging, and system control of solar installations.
Analysing data transmission needs of solar monitoring systems to determine optimal layout, location, and communication methods for effective system control and reporting.
Creating and implementing signal processing and control algorithms for solar applications, fault detection, and power optimization, using embedded platforms and custom software.
Other related tasks as assigned.
To be successful in the role you will need to have:
At least Bachelor Degree in related fields with a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in similar roles.
Knowledge and experience in solar construction projects is a plus
Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Project management skills and experience
Knowledge of electrical safety, grounding, and system protection
Strong related technical skills including data analysis & system optimization
What we offer
Annual Salary from $80,000 to $100,000 for 38 hours per week, plus superannuation
