Main duties/responsibilities:
· Design and build electronic equipment for testing (test benches), PCB (Printed Circuit Board) designated to repair digital and electronic systems used in vending machines, such as automatic coffee machines and beverage dispensers using manual and available engineering information.
· Design and test software for PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) in production lines used for bottling and packing soft drinks using electronic documentation.
· Assesses the budget and technical specifications presented in electronic equipment and materials such as sensors, servo actuators, and PLCs, that allow uninterruptible processes in the production line for bottling and packing of soft drinks.
· Analysing the performance of graphics and the functionality of electronic equipment used in the maintenance and repair of automatic beverage dispenser machines.
· Review and make electronic diagrams (drawings) that allow records of every development and improvement made in electronic equipment in the workshop to ensure they meet specifications, blueprints, contractual requirements, and regulatory standards.
· Install, maintain, repair, and upgrade electronic equipment in the workshop as needed
Requirements, skills & experience
Requirements:
· Undertake a National Police History check
· Current and valid Australian Driver´s Licence
Qualifications and experience:
· At least a Diploma in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
· Minimum 1 year of work experience in Electronic Engineering
· Previous experience working as an Electronic Engineer Technician.
· Previous experience working on projects that involve electronic component design
· Previous experience testing and repairing electronic equipment.
Skills/capabilities:
· Ability to read and prepare schematics, technical drawings, electronic diagrams and plans for electronic engineering work
· PLC programming knowledge.
· Ability to write reports and record data
· intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
· excellent verbal and written communication
· Organised and able to meet deadlines
· Ability to work autonomously and to communicate effectively to the team
· Understanding of OH&S requirements and safe work behaviour
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Excellent problem solving skills; Proven ability in solving complex technical skills
