About the role

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Customer Service / Sales Representative to join our team at our The Log fires company in the Box Hill South area.( soon to be Vermont near eastlink ) This Full-time role will provide you with the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers with their sales enquiries either in person or by email or phone.

What you'll be doing

Providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, both in-person and over the phone

Answering customer inquiries about our products and services

Demonstrating and showcasing our range of gas, electric and wood log fires to customers

Assisting customers with product selection and order placement

Maintaining a neat, tidy and well-presented retail space

Proactively identifying and capitalising on sales opportunities

Adhering to all company policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Previous customer service or sales experience in a retail environment

Office experience preferable in a service based business

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers

Excellent product knowledge and the ability to provide detailed and accurate information

A friendly, professional and customer-focused attitude

The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
