My client, a recognisable and well regarded commercial Electrical Contractor, has asked me to source them a Junior Project Manager to bolster their existing team. The business specialise in electrical contracting services for the commercial sector, spanning office complexes to retail spaces and everything in between.

They have a reputation for reliability and enjoy a solid reputation in the marketplace. The bulk of their work is repeat business from long standing clients.

You’ll work alongside senior project managers and site teams to help plan, coordinate, and deliver commercial electrical projects on time and within budget. As part of the role, you’ll gain hands-on experience across all stages of project delivery, from design coordination and procurement to site execution and final handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and scheduling project timelines and milestones
  
  
• Support procurement of materials and subcontractor management
  
  
• Help monitor project budgets and track project costs
  
  
• Liaise with site supervisors, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth delivery
  
  
• Maintain project documentation, reports, and communication logs
  
  
• Contribute to health & safety compliance and quality control
  
  

Ideal candidates will have:

• Ideally 3-5 years’ experience in an Electrical trade supervising others
  
  
• Good understanding of how a project is delivered on-site and from a financial standpoint
  
  
• Strong communication and organizational skills
  
  
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a project management role
  
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with project software is a bonus
  
  
• Relevant qualifications in construction/project management or engineering are desirable
