About the role

Join Odhavji & Associates' dynamic team as an Accountant based in Adelaide, South Australia. This full-time position (37.5 hours weekly) is an excellent opportunity to apply your financial accounting and reporting expertise within a respected professional services firm.

What you'll be doing

Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

Maintain general ledgers and ensure accounting records are up-to-date and compliant with relevant standards and regulations

Assist with the preparation of tax returns and liaise with external auditors

Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decision-making

Contribute to the ongoing improvement of accounting processes and systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality client service

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance

Relevant professional accounting certification (e.g. CA, CPA)

Minimum 1-2 years of post-qualification experience in a financial accounting role

Proficient in the use of accounting software and data analysis tools

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
