Job Summary:

As an Accountant at Swornim Corporation Pty Ltd, you will be an integral part of the finance team, ensuring that our financial records are accurate and compliant with industry regulations. Your responsibilities will include preparing financial reports, managing accounts, assisting with budgeting and tax filings, and supporting decision-making with financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, ensuring timely reconciliation of all accounts

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes

• Oversee payroll processing and related deductions

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations

• Analyze financial data to support strategic business decisions

• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors

• Process vendor invoices and manage supplier relationships

• Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and industry regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the commercial cleaning or services industry

• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or MYOB

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational ability

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team

• Knowledge of Australian tax laws and financial regulations

• Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
