Trading firm located in Barrangaroo that trades key financial markets worldwide and involved in funds management, looking for an experienced junior accountant to assist the finance manager. Responsibilities:
- Review of the monthly fund reports, ensuring accurate processing of financial transactions
Financial reporting - assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reports
Expense management - review of expenses and tracking to forecast
Budgeting and forecasting - assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasting cashflow
Supporting the finance team - providing administrative and logistical support to the finance manager
Work closely with key stakeholders, including auditors, compliance teams, fund administrator and brokers to meet KYC and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field;
• 1-3 years experience in accounting, fund operation, or financial services
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Fluent in English
