About the role

Poseidon building supply is one of Australia's leading suppliers of bath ware and kitchen products. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse worker to join our fast and dynamic team with a great culture.

You will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations to ensure efficient, cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.

What you'll be doing

Managing the day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatching of goods

Implementing and monitoring warehouse processes and procedures to maximise productivity and accuracy

Overseeing the maintenance of the warehouse facilities, equipment and stock levels

Analysing data and generating reports to identify opportunities for improvement

Supervising and developing a team of warehouse and logistics personnel, including setting targets, providing training and performance management

Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless integration of warehouse activities with the broader business operations

Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar senior warehousing role, preferably within the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics industry

Strong knowledge of warehouse management principles, including inventory control, space optimisation and process improvement

Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

Outstanding leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

Proficient in using warehouse management systems and data analysis tools

Forklift license and experience in operating warehouse equipment

Excellent communication and management skills
