About the role

As the Warehouse & Logistics Manager at A-SAFE Australasia Pty Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient and effective operation of our warehouse and distribution facilities. This full-time position is based in our Eastern Creek Warehouse and involves managing a small team of warehouse team members in all aspects of our warehousing, inventory, and logistics functions.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring optimal productivity, accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols
• Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of our products, maintaining tight control of inventory levels
• Coordinate the planning and execution of logistics activities, including the scheduling and routing of deliveries
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of warehouse and logistics activities with HQ in the UK.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a small team of warehouse and logistics personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and safety standards

What we're looking for

• Substantial experience (5+ years) in a warehouse and/or logistics management role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industries
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles, warehouse operations, and logistics planning
• Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on developing talent and driving continuous improvement
• Proficient in the use of NetSuite, RF scanning software, and other relevant technologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field would be highly regarded
