Covering all plumbing needs for the new home builder this established plumbing business provides expertise, systems, and equipment to meet the domestic builders’ plumbing demands.
About the Role
As a key member for the company’s day to day activities, we seek a committed and dedicated administrator / Bookings Scheduler to join our team in a full-time permanent position in our Craigieburn office. This position is available for immediate start.
You will be the primary point of contact to our customer base for all new/current job enquiries and job bookings. Your responsibilities will include coordinating plumber schedules and keeping customers informed and updated throughout their job process.
With the support and guidance of our team, you will manage the office-based coordination of all documentation required for onsite jobs and facilitate communication between clients and internal teams.
Full training will be provided to help you succeed in this role.
To succeed in this role, you need to take ownership of your tasks while building rapport with clients. If attention to detail is something your pride yourself on, then this is the position for you.
Primary tasks and responsibilities of the role include
Booking all Maintenance, Plumbing and Drainage jobs
Processing of jobs (including preparation and review of all job sheets, drawings/plans) for the various stages of residential construction
Liaising with plumbers and builders throughout the day by phone and email
Arranging and coordinating supplier services and permits
Answer incoming phone calls and emails
Filing and other ad hoc duties as required
Experience/Skills
2+ years of administration experience in a fast-paced office environment.
Ability to multitask and problem-solve unexpected challenges
Strong customer service skills with excellent communication and attention to detail.
Sound skills in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
A flexible and ‘can do’ attitude with a passion for staying busy
Punctual and reliable with good time management skills
Previous experience in plumbing administration is a bonus, but not essential
You will need to demonstrate that you are enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed to providing a high level of customer service, by developing and maintaining internal customer relationships and rapport.
