Altus Traffic is currently seeking a passionate Scheduling Administrator to join us in this admin and internal customer service focused role. This is fast paced, reactive, full-time role working within in close team environment and requires a Scheduling Administrator who is calm working under pressure with a high level of attention to detail and problem solving ability.

The Scheduling Administrator is responsible for receiving and entering all client job bookings onto the system, assigning traffic controllers and assets to each of those bookings. You will also be responsible for data entry, answering enquiries and administrative related tasks.

Training will be provided to ensure you are confident in managing all requirements

Duties

  • Coordinate and enter all details of incoming job bookings
  • Daily client calls and check ins
  • Review and assign the most suitable personnel for each job
  • Confirm staff for allocated shifts
  • Manage multiple in-bound calls
  • Ensure policies and procedures relating to client inductions, licensing, training and fatigue management are met
  • Deliver positive, proactive and committed feedback to on road staff
  • Monitor, evaluate and report on traffic controller performance via client call-backs and feedback
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders concerning scheduling related matter

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in high volume scheduling work and/or rostering of people and resources
  • A strong motivation to encourage and communicate safe work practices
  • Sound administrative skills and computer literacy
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with a customer service focus
  • Self-motivated with the ability to be proactive and solutions driven with tasks
  • Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities
  • Experience in traffic management or a similar industry is highly regarded
