Goss Engineering is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Mechanical Fitter with a background in Hydraulics to join our staff on a full-time basis.

Duties & responsibilities:

Work predominantly out on site, with some tasks completed in our workshop

Equipment and system installation, auditing systems for performance

Identification and rectification of defects

Act as a Team Leader for larger jobs to drive completion of works

New equipment builds within the workshop

Pump testing and repairs

Train and mentor apprentices and junior staff

Qualifications & attributes:

Cert III in Engineering, Mechanical Trade

Cert IV Engineering, Fluid Power (Preferable but not essential)

Experience with hydraulics and fluid control (Preferable but not essential)

Australian driver’s license

Solid grasp of system trouble shooting, identification, and rectification

Ability to supervise colleagues on site

Professional manner when communicating with clients

A keen eye for details and pride in your work

$46 - $56/hr for Mechanical Fitter

$51 - $62/hr for Hydraulic Fitter
