The Opportunity

As our Operations Manager you will work closely with the Director and lead high-end residential projects from concept to completion. You'll guarantee our exacting standards for quality and timelines are met while liaising and building relationships with clients, architects/designers and builders.

This is a rare opportunity with the potential to progress your career, taking on further responsibilities as you learn all areas of the business with the Director.

This role is challenging and diverse. You won't be restricted to an office environment with time "on the tools" and work/supervision on-site required.

4-day work week (Tuesday-Friday).

Phone and laptop provided. There is also the option of including a company vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

Team Management: Delegating work to a small team and ensuring efficiency and safety of tasks in the workshop.

Project Leadership: Manage all project phases including planning, scheduling and execution.

Technical oversight: Review drawings, guide fabrication processes and resolve technical issues.

Client relations: Act as a key contact for discerning clients and building professionals.

Site Management: Conduct precision measurements and supervise installation teams.

Process Innovation: Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance project delivery.

Your Qualifications

Trade qualification in Joinery/Cabinetry/Carpentry, or similar

Significant trade knowledge within the cabinet making/joinery field

Project Management experience within the cabinetry/joinery field, or other industries

Proficiency in Microvellum or similar joinery specific software.

Valid Victorian White Card and Driver's License (Heavy Vehicle and Forklift License an advantage).
