A small International Freight Forwarder is seeking an Import Operator to join their Australian Head Office in Rockdale due to growth.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Handling Import operations for both Import Air & Sea including providing cargo and other updates
• Track & trace of international cargo
• Issuing Pre-alerts and Arrival Notices
• Customs reporting and cargo out-turns in ERP
• Liaising with Shipping lines, other service providers and Customs
• Arranging Customs / Quarantine Inspections
• Arranging local transport
• Invoicing jobs
• Asist with export FCL operations

ABOUT YOU:

• Minimum 2 years work experience in International Import Freight Operations
• Export operations experience (preferred)
• Strong MS Office skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• High attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
