Your new role

As the Finance Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-level financial support and analysis within the division. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports
  
• Journaling, month-end reporting and forecasting for the division
  
• Conducting detailed financial analysis and forecasting
  
• Ensuring compliance with government financial regulations and policies
  
• Assisting in budget preparation and monitoring
  
• Providing timely financial advice and support to senior management
  

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience in a similar finance role within a large organisation
  
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Baseline security clearance (NV1 preferred)
  
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, or a related field
  
  

What you'll get in return
