Morgan McKinley is looking for a Senior Manager of Technology Third-Party Risk Management who will lead the execution of a leading Australian Insurance Firm's Technology Vendor Management strategy.

The role involves leading a team of two, partnering with senior leaders across the business, educating and influencing to ensure effective technology vendor relationships. You will be analysing contracts and licenses so attention to detail is essential to identify areas for cost reduction and improvement. The company offers hybrid working in the Sydney CBD.

Responsibilities:

• Lead centralised technology sourcing initiatives, renewals, and transformations, partnering with various stakeholders including technology, risk, procurement and finance.
• Conduct market analysis and commercial risk assessments to inform sourcing decisions, and support commercial negotiations to deliver planned outcomes.
• Develop and execute strategies to reduce technology costs whilst educating and influencing leaders to be commercially savvy.
• Manage end-to-end regulatory risk requirements for vendor management, including Financial Accounting Regime (FAR) framework and CPS230 compliance, and lead Vendor Tech and Cyber risk assessments.
• Enhance the Tech Vendor Relationship Management and Governance framework, establish key metrics, and manage a team of two analysts to support activities.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in technical procurement, including sourcing strategy and cost analysis.
• Proven negotiation skills with vendors and stakeholders, including strategy development and risk management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills for managing projects to deadlines and budget.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and educate with a collaborative approach.
