About the Role

The role of a Mechanical and Composite Engineer is to design, develop, and test mechanical systems with a focus on enhancing performance and reliability. This includes working on composites product development and prototyping, ensuring the creation of durable and efficient materials for various applications. A key aspect of the role also involves hydrodynamic wing design, requiring expertise in fluid dynamics and structural integrity to deliver optimal performance in watercraft and related technologies.

• OTS review/reports
• Product issues review and assessment
• Production implementation
• CAD File development and management
• Interface with and evaluate suppliers

• Academic Degree (Masters, Bachelor or relevant experience)
• Solid 3D-CAD experience (Solidworks)
• Comprehensive NPD experience
• Hydrodynamic wing design
• Composites design and production experience
• Understanding of quality management systems
• CNC injection moulding
• Materials specification / surface finishes
• Ability to multi-task and determine priorities
• Work as an active team member to complete team goals.
• Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the team.
• Analytical and creative thinker
