We are one of the fastest growing Sheetmetal Fabrication companies in NSW. We are looking for a full time Mechanical Engineer.

The Mechanical Engineer will report to the Production/ Assistant supervisor and will be responsible for followings;

• Read and interpret blueprints & switchboard technical drawings.
• Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
• Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products, using drafting tools or computer-assisted design/drafting equipment and software.
• Study industrial processes to determine where and how application of equipment can be made.
• Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of production, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, and operation of product designs.
• Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
• Conduct research that tests and analyses the feasibility, design, operation and performance of equipment, components and systems.
• Write performance requirements for product development.

Successful applicants must have:

• At least 2 years previous experience in a similar role/industry
• Having a Diploma/Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent
• Experience - At least 2 years experience if have a relevant bachelor qualification otherwise at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Holding a Current driver’s license.
• An ability to read and understand drawings
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

Salary - $70,000 - $79,0000
