Position Summary and Primary Objective

As our Marketing Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting our sales teams through dynamic and engaging marketing. From social media content and letter box drops to digital campaigns and listing promotions, you’ll help showcase our properties and tell our brand story in a fresh, consistent, and community-minded way.

Responsible for working in a team, the individual will be expected to demonstrate commitment and loyalty and perform all duties in accordance with the organisation’s office routines and procedures, keeping in mind the overall business objectives.

Knowledge & Experience Required

· Experience or qualification in marketing, communications, or a related field (preferred but not essential)

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Good eye for design and attention to detail

· Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools

· Confident using social media platforms for business

· Ability to work independently and juggle multiple tasks

· Basic photography, video editing, or copywriting skills are a bonus

· Real estate experience or interest is a plus, but not essential

· Possession of a current driver’s licence

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong administrative skills

· Ability to work within a team of staff

Roles and Responsibilities

· Take full responsibility for the marketing of the Jurds brand

· The creation and scheduling of engaging social media content (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)

· Grow the social media presence of Jurds, with an in-depth marketing plan

· Design marketing materials including property brochures, window cards, flyers, and digital ads

· Maintain and update listings on real estate portals and the agency website

· Support branding efforts across all touchpoints – digital, print, signage, and events

· Coordinate professional photography, videography, and floorplans for new listings

· Assist with local marketing campaigns, sponsorships, and community events

· Monitor marketing performance metrics and provide basic reporting

· Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials

· Perform general administrative duties to support the marketing function as needed

· Letter box dropping and delivering marketing materials to households

· Create and deliver effective proposal presentations, prospecting plans, networking strategies and action plans

· Maintain an understanding of both local and national real estate markets and keep abreast of market development and indicators

· Promote the office brand and the team

· Ensure punctual attendance for all internal and external business commitments

· Adhere to deadlines and ensure all work tasks are completed in an organised, timely and efficient manner

· Participate in performance review processes to establish areas for improvement

· Perform your duties to a high professional and ethical standard

· Maintain a well-groomed and business-like appearance

· Ensure compliance with ethical standards and industry codes of conduct
