About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Project Coordinator to join our Strategic Project Services team and play a key role in shaping DFES’s future capabilities. This role supports the effective planning, coordination, and integration of projects across the department, ensuring alignment with DFES’s strategic goals and our vision of All Western Australians working together for a safer State.
As a Senior Project Coordinator, you will work closely with business areas to facilitate project initiation and planning, define clear project objectives, and support the development of high-quality plans. You’ll act as a critical link between operational teams and the central portfolio management function—bringing insights back to shape broader program structures, strategic roadmaps, and long-term investment decisions.
We are seeking someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills who can engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, articulate business needs, identify challenges and opportunities, and propose solutions that drive results. You will help enhance project governance, promote collaboration, and ensure initiatives are aligned with DFES’s strategic priorities.
