Join our Mandurah Family Relationship Centre as the Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) Supervisor, where you will provide reflective practice individual and group supervision to the team of FDRPs. Additionally, you will hold a caseload a provide a FDRP service, walking compassionately and respectfully alongside families. You will aim to provide alternatives to formal legal processes for families who want to improve their family relationships, to prevent separation and to facilitate parents to make arrangements in the best interests of their children after separation. You will assist families with parenting and property matters and will be capable of working with families with complex needs, including those with family violence issues. Bring your therapeutic and child inclusive approach to assist families through separation.

This part time role (0.4 - 0.6 FTE) is a permanent role. The successful candidate must be able to work one evening shift on a Thursday 12:30pm - 8:30pm, other days (8:30am - 4:30pm) are flexible.
What you will bring
You are passionate about your professional practice and culturally appropriate services that aim to strengthen family relationships with a particular focus on the children’s needs.
To be successful in this role you will:
- hold a Bachelor's degree or above in psychology, counselling, social work or other related field
- hold a Graduate Diploma in Family Dispute Resolution
- have knowledge and experience in Family Dispute Resolution, Property Mediation, counselling and Child Inclusive Practice
- have knowledge of the effects of trauma and domestic violence on families, children and young people
- have previous counselling experience with individuals, couples and families
- have the ability to provide reflect practice supervision
The successful candidate must also possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year, a Working with Children Check and a WA Driver’s License.

- $104,988 full time salary per annum pro rata + 11% superannuation

- Additional 3 days leave over the festive closedown (pro rata)
