About the role

Joshua Blom Lawyers, a leading law firm in Bowral, NSW, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Lawyer to join our dynamic team. As a Family Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality legal services to our clients in the area of family law. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work alongside a team of talented legal professionals and contribute to the continued success of our firm.

What you'll be doing

• Advising and representing clients in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, parenting, property settlements, and more
• Appearing on behalf of clients in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia
• Conducting legal research, drafting documents, and preparing for court appearances
• Maintaining strong client relationships and providing exceptional customer service
• Staying up to date with changes in family law legislation and regulations
• Collaborating with the wider legal team to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of legal services

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) degree, and a valid practicing certificate
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in family, preferably in a private law firm setting
• Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to providing exceptional client service
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in family law
• Experience with Criminal law matter is desirable but not necessary
