Our Communications and Engagement team provide services and advice across a range of areas, including internal and external promotions, media and risk management, sector and stakeholder engagement, events, social media, graphic and multimedia design, website and intranet content.
An exciting opportunity to join a high-performing communications and engagement team that contributes to policies and programs that make a real difference. Reporting to the Manager, Public Affairs, the Communications Lead is responsible for:
providing expert business partnering communications advice and support to key division/s within the Department
developing and delivering strategic communications plans, content and materials for a range of internal and external channels, working collaboratively with subject matter experts, executives and specialist channel leads in media, social media, online and creative services
identifying and managing complex issues and developing appropriate communication strategies to manage
demonstrating a high level of collaboration, responsiveness, flexibility, resilience and customer-focused service that responds to diverse audiences and constantly changing priorities.
Special Conditions:
National Police Check required.
Some out of hours work may be required.
Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.
Must hold a current Australian issued driver's licence (equivalent to minimum class C).
