About the Role

One of our key clients is looking for a civil designer to join their decarbonization infrastructure projects team as they have an exciting pipeline of work ahead, focusing on delivering energy projects for their mining operations.

This is a client-side opportunity as they have an established in-house engineering and design team, this is a long-term contract role for an experienced designer.

Location: Perth CBD with easy access to public transport

Working from home: flexibility for WFH days once familiar with company systems

Facilities: end-of-trip facilities in the office, discount gym membership

Responsibilities

Design layout and detailing of civil infrastructure, drainage and non-process infrastructure

GIS and data management that will inform models and drawings

Development of geospatial files and maps to support the design and approvals process

Assist with civil engineering designs, earthworks and road design

Liaise with engineers to establish design requirements

Participate in project meetings and present design options as required

Requirements

12D and MicroStation software proficiency

Experience with civil infrastructure for mining projects

GIS software experience will be highly regarded
