Senior Electrical Designer

Our client, an EPC company, is looking for a Senior Electrical Designer to join their Perth team.

Project: Mining Sustaining Capital Projects
Location: Perth
Duration: 12-months initial casual contract (with a view for extension)

The role responsibilities include:

Deliver discipline specific design and drafting services that meet the company's, the client’s and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

Participate in peer reviews, interdisciplinary reviews and consult relevant resources as required and also contribute to the development and improvement of project design systems, processes, practices and procedures (where required).

Communicate effectively and regularly with the project Lead, engineers, other discipline design teams, and Project Engineers/Managers on design progress, technical matters, workshare and resource planning

What you’ll have:

A recognised design qualification (Advanced Diploma) in Electrical Engineering.

Relevant years of experience in designing and drafting with majority of experience in the resource industry.

Bentley Microstation experience is a MUST.

E3D & Navisworks Simulator experience is desirable.

Technically proficient in brownfield projects (experience in design from scratch)

Great communication skills (client-facing)
