About the role
As a Infrastructure Maintenance Crew Member at Yarra Ranges Council, you will undertake general road, drainage, and streetscape maintenance. Operate and maintain various plant items, including trucks, while working cooperatively to achieve team goals. This is a full-time temporary position until October 2025 (leave backfill) (38 hours per week).
This is a Band 3 role with a salary range between $68,469 and $72,229 per annum (pro rata), plus superannuation.
Support work-life balance with a fortnightly or monthly rostered day off.
Experience and skills we’re looking for
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Strong experience in road, drainage, and streetscape maintenance works.
Proficient in operating and maintaining various plant items, including trucks.
Exceptional problem-solving skills for quick and effective solutions.
Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
Willingness to adapt to changing situations and embrace new challenges.
Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and the community.
A proactive approach to identifying and addressing maintenance issues.
An understanding of municipal regulations and compliance requirements.
