The Indian Ocean Territories Administration (IOTA) is seeking a motivated, professional, suitably qualified person to join our team as Maintenance Coordinator. The Maintenance Coordinator will support the operations of the IOTA by ensuring effective management of physical assets across community and healthcare facilities in the Indian Ocean Territories.

Our ideal applicant will have demonstrated experience in developing and sustaining maintenance practices for facilities and equipment; experience supervising and coordinating maintenance contractors or service providers; and a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective client relationships in a complex work environment while delivering outcomes and maintaining a high-level of customer service.

The successful candidate will also demonstrate high level written and interpersonal communication skills including experience in preparing project and procurement documentation and financial and performance reports.

Applicants with prior experience tracking and managing maintenance using a computerised maintenance management system (CMMS), e.g. MEX maintenance software and prior experience working in a healthcare environment will be well regarded.

To be considered, applicant must be an Australian citizen, holds a current Driver’s License transferable to the Indian Ocean Territories, valid Western Australia Working with Children Check and will be subject to pre- employment screening and health assessment. The ability to obtain a Baseline Security clearance with the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency is an essential requirement for this role.
