A well-established, family-owned, boutique developer builder in business for over 40 years. We specialise in delivering high-quality residential apartments and houses across SEQ Queensland.

Our rental property portfolio has been slowly growing in the last few years, and we are looking to hire an internal property manager as it continues to grow. Currently the portfolio is 57 units in New Farm and Chermside with 70 units currently under construction. This role would start at two days a week, but the applicant should consider the company’s future growth could result in a slow increase in hours.

About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate and driven Property Manager to join our vibrant team in the North Brisbane area. You could structure your working hours according to your own schedule, we are looking for a 16-hour commitment per week to begin.

The role duties include:

Being responsible for the full cycle of property management duties including tenant management, maintenance coordination, rent collection and arrears management

Effectively communicating with tenants and the office to schedule repairs and provide excellent customer service

Conducting property inspections and condition reports

Preparing lease documentation and managing the end-of-lease process

Maintaining detailed property records and client files

Use of PropertyMe to record rent and maintain tenant records

Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

1-2 years' experience in a property management

Proficiency in using PropertyMe software and Microsoft Office suite

Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing residential tenancy

Is client-focused and results-driven, with the confidence to interact with tenants and team members of diverse backgrounds

Excellent time management and organisational abilities, bookkeeping experience a plus

Possesses excellent communication skills and is naturally motivated by building strong relationships

Brings a vibrant personality and high energy to the role

Current Driver's License
