Job Title: Customer Service Specialist - Part Time – 20 hours per week

We are looking for a highly energized and flexible candidate to act as a customer service specialist. The candidate will provide customer service support for health care professionals and for people living with diabetes, as well as their care givers. Being a diabetes device product specialist, the candidate will use his/her knowledge to support and solve customer enquiries, performing product troubleshooting and software/app/portal support over the phone, as well as responding to emails and social media enquiries regarding the same topics.

Location: Sydney – Hybrid

What you will be doing:

Diabetes device Customer Service and Activation Calls

1. Respond to customer enquiries via phone, chat, email and social media

2. Troubleshoot product and software issues for people with diabetes and health care professionals

3. Consult product manuals to be able to advise customers of appropriate options / solutions

4. Log calls accurately in the CRM system and in-line with business procedures

5. Develop and maintain a full knowledge of Ascensia products and services

6. Support and maintain stock allocations and shipment of product to customers such as warranty replacements

What You Need For Success:

· High school diploma or equivalent; university degree preferred

· Must be a permanent resident

· Preferable experience of administrative work in medical industry

· Familiarity with MS Office (working knowledge of Excel) & CRM systems (MS Dynamics an advantage)

· You thrive on problem solving and interaction with people over the phone

· Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening

· You find value and motivation in supporting people with diabetes to achieve the highest possible quality of life.
