Our PLAYfocus program is led by qualified educators who provide high-quality care and engaging STEAM-based experiences tailored to each child’s developmental stage — all in the comfort of their own home.

We’re currently looking for educators who are passionate, reliable, and committed to making a genuine impact in children’s lives to join our growing mobile team.

About the Role
This is a part-time position, with full-time opportunities available for the right candidate.
You’ll work in a mobile capacity, providing in-home care and educational play experiences for families across different suburbs. Each session is thoughtfully planned and centred around children’s developmental needs and interests. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and working with different families and age groups.

What You'll Be Doing

Caring for children (typically aged 0–10) in their homes

Leading play-based, STEAM-inspired activities (Science, Tech, Engineering, Arts, Maths)

Supporting everyday routines (meals, naps, outdoor play, and local excursions)

Creating safe, responsive environments and nurturing strong relationships with children and families

Travelling to different suburbs for sessions (travel support or company car available for part-time staff — conditions apply)

What We’re Looking For

Certificate III or higher in Early Childhood Education (completed – not currently studying)

Confident driver with a valid open licence or green P (Provisional 2) licence (essential)

Access to your own car is preferred (travel costs reimbursed or company car available for part-time staff — conditions apply)

Experience working with children in any setting (early childhood, schools, education support, or private care)

Valid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain one)

Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to update)

Availability of at least 2 consistent weekdays preferred
