Offering an inspiring, modern and technologically rich learning environment to over 1300 students (including 140 Boarding Students), the school has an enviable reputation for intellectual leadership and academic achievement.

Operating as a part of our Junior School, we are commencing a new in-house Outside School Hours Care Service, after a period of an external contractor operating our Program. Reporting to the Coordinator, this position is offered on a permanent part time or casual basis.

The role will deliver high-quality care to children from Prep to Year 6, before and after school and during School vacation periods. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing engaging and educational programs that foster children's development, ensuring their safety and well-being in a supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational abilities, and a genuine passion for working with primary school age children.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Experience in an Educator position in an Out of School Hours Care/Vacation Care Service, or interest in working with School age children;

Proven ability to foster warm and professional relationships with children, families and members of our School community;

Knowledge of My Time Our Place Framework, Education and Care Services National Law (2010), and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011);

If required, be willing to accept the role of Responsible Person under the Education and Care Services National Law Application Bill 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulations, if required; and

Hold an approved Diploma or Certificate III in Outside School Hours Care, School Based Education Support, or Early Childhood Education and Care; or

Be studying early childhood education and care qualification, behavioural science, community services, creative arts, fine arts, drama or music, nursing, paramedicine, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, diversional therapy or speech pathology, primary, secondary or special education, sport and recreation or human welfare studies and services.

As a condition of employment, all non-teaching staff are required to hold a valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and are required to maintain their Blue Card for the duration of employment. In addition, hold a current First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Asthma and Anaphylaxis Qualification.
