As a member of our IT Support Team, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality support services to staff and students.

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

• Providing on-site and remote IT support, including software installation and troubleshooting
• Assisting users with connecting to Curtin’s wireless network
• Installing and updating Curtin-supported software such as Microsoft Office, EndNote, and OneDrive
• Troubleshooting printing issues and supporting platforms like OASIS and Blackboard
• Helping users with multi-factor authentication (MFA) resets
• Supporting the IT Service Desk and Campus Technology teams with overflow queries
• Logging and escalating IT incidents and requests
• Assisting students in open access labs and guiding them to the right services
• Managing support requests for teaching and meeting venues, including AV equipment audits
• Offering basic support during on-campus events and for urgent AV-related issues

What We’re Looking For:

A combination of technical know-how and excellent interpersonal skills.

Technical Skills:

• Strong troubleshooting abilities across hardware, software, and networks
• Experience with installing and managing software (e.g., Office, EndNote, OneDrive)
• Understanding of wireless network connectivity support
• Familiarity with OASIS, Blackboard, and printing systems
• Knowledge of MFA processes and AV equipment basics
• Experience with IT service management and incident escalation

Soft Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong customer service orientation
• Good problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Adaptability and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective time management and multitasking
