Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Engagement Officer to join our team in Perth on Full time basis (Mon - Fri 9 am to 5pm). In this dynamic role, you will be the bridge between our organisation and the community, identifying gaps in services, gaining referrals, and building strong connections with various stakeholders with the aim of gaining referrals and support coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Coordination
• Community Outreach: Proactively engage with local communities including rural communities to identify gaps in services and resources available to NDIS participants.
• Networking: Build and maintain relationships with community organisations, businesses, and service providers to enhance our referral network.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Business Development Officer, Finance, and Service Manager to align community engagement strategies with organisational goals.
• Data Collection: Gather insights and feedback from community interactions to inform service development and improve offerings.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates on engagement efforts, referrals, and partnership development to management.

Qualifications:

• Experience in community engagement, networking, marketing, outreach, sales, or similar roles, preferably within the NDIS or disability sector.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse groups.
• Knowledge of the NDIS framework and the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities is desired.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
