About the Client:
Rio Tinto Operates the world's largest integrated portfolio of iron ore assets. Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety, and environmental performance.
About the Role:
WorkPac is currently in search of an Electrical Delivery Lead to join our esteemed client's team, based on in Perth. This position is Monday to Friday, Perth based with some Ad-hoc travel to site.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead safe and efficient delivery of electrical projects in a live plant environment
Manage project works during both normal operations and shutdowns
Oversee commissioning, approvals, and handover processes
Coordinate with engineering, safety, procurement, and contractor teams
Ensure compliance with Rio Tinto safety standards and procedures
Manage budgets, forecasts, and contract deliverables
Provide regular progress updates and reporting to stakeholders
Contribute to continuous improvement and share lessons learned
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (essential)
Previous experience delivering brownfield projects on operational mine sites
Strong technical knowledge in electrical project execution within the resources sector
Proven ability to manage full project lifecycle – from design to commissioning
Experience overseeing shutdown work in high-risk environments
Skilled in budgeting, cost control, and contract management
Current C Class Driver’s Licence
