The Role

The Human Capital Management (HCM) Program is a multi-year, technology-driven transformation initiative designed to simplify, streamline, and modernise key people management services across the department. The Integrations Analyst role sits within the Technical Integrations team, which is responsible for delivering both internal and external integrations for the program. This position will collaborate closely with the broader program team, internal IT teams, third-party application providers, and the program’s solution implementation partner. The Technical stream encompasses bespoke solution development, integration delivery, technical architecture, environment management, data migration, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse, document, and gain a deep understanding of data structures across both source and target systems—on-premise and cloud-based—to identify integration requirements.
• Define and maintain detailed mappings between source and target data attributes for use in interfaces and automation tools.
• Design and implement robust monitoring and error-handling frameworks for all integrations, internal and external.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external integration partners, and the solution implementation provider to design and deliver effective integration solutions connecting HCM, internal, and third-party systems via platforms such as SuccessFactors and SAP BTP.
• Deliver secure, scalable, and well-documented integration solutions, including custom-developed components where required.
• Establish and uphold a security model for the integration platform that adheres to established security standards and protocols.
• Partner with the Testing team to support integration testing activities—developing test cases, preparing test data, reviewing test outcomes, and resolving integration-related defects.
• Support knowledge transfer and capability building by working closely with integration partners to create an internal knowledge base for ongoing integration operations.

Experience Required

• Experience with cloud HCM platforms integration (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors)
• Demonstrated experience in application integration (ideally SAP BTP-i)
• Experience with integration data mapping and information management and data flows
• Demonstrated Experience working with APIs, SOAP, RESTful services, json, xml, and other integration methods and protocols (desirable)
• Experience with real-time and batch integrations, with a focus on scalability and reliability (desirable)
